Both of the Helpless comps were like a beam of light and hope to me because I while at the time I mostly listened to music made by Christians, I didn't really LOVE what was available until Tooth and Nail came around and I found the first Helpless comp in Sept. 1994 at a Christian bookstore in Allentown, PA. They had an open copy and when I saw the photos of bands inside I was like "YES! Finally! The real thing! Thank God!" WHEN i got home that night and pressed play I was amazed. I wanted to listen to every song at the same time!
Thanks! I copped Vol 2 at a Christian bookstore back in ninety-something while stationed in New Mexico. That Maintain track is my fave.
