I heard these two tracks by Saved by Grace back when they originally posted them online before the release and they were super heavy and super good. I regret not going about the appropriate paths to obtaining them for myself, because now I absolutely can not find them anywhere online. If ANYONE has access to these two tracks by the band, or the entire split with The Esoteric, please contact me!
Thanks guys.
By the way, I have A LOT of stuff I plan to post on here sometime soon. Life has been busy and gotten in the way, but once I get all the stuff sorted out, I'll get it ripped onto my computer and posted on here.
I remember listening to Our Solemn Season Ends song, but never actually heard the full release, also SBG's full length cd was awesome

hey, not sure if this will be seen...
ReplyDeletemy name is jason shrout, i played drums in saved by grace. i have a hard copy of the split with the esoteric (the version with the blue cover). that version was the tour version for the coalesce/esoteric tour in 2002. sbg played the kc (lawrence, ks, specifically) date of that tour which was the tour kickoff. that version was available at that show and on the following tour. sbg never got any copies for us to sell. we only got personal copies for each of us on that night. the first cover art that you posted was the actual version that was released later on after the tour was over. the original version was hand numbered and all. pretty rad. anyway, those two songs were the first songs written by the band after the full length (for what you have done, recorse records). those songs hinted at what the band was progressing into. very heavy parts ala turmoil and more harvest worship, but with the spacey/melodic stuff ala cave in. there were another probably 7 or 8 songs written after this split that were never recorded, but were played live. so if you saw us on tour, especially the 2002 and 2003 timeframe, you would have seen almost all newer stuff and maybe one or two songs from for what you have done in the set. anyway, im rambling. ive been planning on making an SBG facebook, so that there will be a central place for pictures and memories, etc.
if anyone wants to contact me, i can get you files of the songs from the split. just hit me up at my facebook page. facebook.com then backslash then xcrujonesx or search for me - Jason Shrout - Kansas City, MO
