Rainy Days was members of Bloodshed, in between them becoming Innermeans and Stairwell, and just after they became Slingshot David.
ReplyDeleteWas kinda a "supergroup". Also has Jeff from Unashamed playing bass(at least on full length). Here is a myspace page http://www.myspace.com/rainydayshomecoming. Have full length on Alarma if interested.
ReplyDeleteI would love a rip of that for the blog. Could you send me that tat joshxNATIONS@gmail.com?
ReplyDeleteI sang for Rainy Days. Ma was asking if the magic Internet had anything on my old band, and this site came up. Your having that old tape is really something! We made those ourselves.

If there's any interest, I can link you guys to rare live recordings from our radio shows. We have two singles on OurStage.com, too. Cheers, everyone!

Hey, I tried to comment a second ago but the signature screwed with me.
ReplyDeleteI sang for Rainy Days. We made this demo by hand. It's amazing that you have this! These are entirely rare.

Free to listen there, I think. If there's any interest, I can link you to live shows we played on the radio circa 2000, new album stuff that wasn't ever released. Decent recordings, too.
Anyhow, cheers all!
I'd love to hear those live performances. My buddies and I grew up listening to Homecoming. It's one of those albums that instantly takes me back to another time. We were only able to see you guys once at Mission Hills in Laguna Hills. What a great band. My buddies would flip if I came up on some new Rainy Days audio.

ReplyDeleteI love the Rainy Days album! I had a car accident singing one of the songs! (Sorry if I messed up the words) "And if our car breaks down halfway we won't stress we'll get out and run the rest of the way ourselves! Yeah! Whoooaoo-ooaaaah whoawhoaoa" CRASH! I rear-ended a car at the toll bridge entering PA. That CD is amazing. It has real substance and depth. I still love it 15+ years later.
ReplyDeleteYou actually crashed your car singing Wayo? That - is - amazing. Thanks for all the nice things you guys have said.
DeleteI'm going to do my best to get the live performances online for you.
In addition, I also found a half-mixed, unmastered copy of our unreleased second record. It's real, real raw, but it's there. I'm going to try and get that material for all of you, too.
Let us know when you get it online with a link or something, thanks!
