All the music posted on this website belongs to the artists. It is all on this blog for the sole purpose to spark memories, discover Christian hardcore bands you never knew existed, and be a reminder to go search for/purchase the record! Please, if you dig any of the records featured here, get your hands on a physical copy. If you are associated with any band on this blog and would like me to either remove the links to your music, or not be featured on this blog at all; please just email me.

Looking for physical copies of these records? Some are difficult to find, being out of print and all, but I would suggest checking these places:

Goodlife Recordings
Boot to Head Records
Blood & Ink Records
True Stance Records
Thumper Punk Records
Angry Son Records
Solid State Records
Witch Doctor Records
Tooth and Nail Records
Facedown Records
...or any of the other record labels featured on this blog.

Many record labels that once featured some of these great Christian hardcore bands are now extinct, but other distro's continue to distribute old records that happen to still be in print or there remain copies of. Oh, how I regret not cherishing these things when I was younger.

So before Strongarm's Advent of a Miracle record, their most memorable and heaviest recording was the version of the song "Trials" on the Trials 7". Former drummer, and later vocalist, Chris Carbonell, hits this china-cymbal constantly throughout the recording and it is heavy as fuck! (Excuse my language, but that's how heavy it is!) The heavy chug parts of the song are played so much slower on this recording and you pretty much have always wanted to break something everytime you've listened to it over the years.

It's awesome to finally have a digital copy of this record, since I've never had access to the ripping-vinyl-to-a-computer process. Anway, here's the record...

I also think that this has been, or will be, re-released, along with their Advent of a Miracle, Division, and Atonement records. Check them out as well here!

  1. all strongarm records have the same artwork style which i fucking love. such vision!

  2. Dude, I have the Division 7" if you want it.

  3. Yes! Email me

  4. I didn't like Advent as much as Trials. Advent was THEE release to rush out and buy in May of '97 though. I bought "The Splinter Shards the Birth of Separation" by Zao on the same day since they came out on the same day. My brain and ears were on overload that week. The art on Advent is not by the same artists as the other releases. It's really hard to find info on those artists!

  5. the Strongarm artwork is done by Mark de Silva, also known from the artwork of One King Down - Bloodlust Revenge. He used the same screaming redheads for a Thrasher skate mag cover, around 1998-1999 I remember...
